Join us for a natural excursion! Hike the Deep Lake Trail in the Yankee Springs Recreation Area. We will have breakfast at the Deep Lake Campground Big Boy at 8:00 a.m. and start the hike at 9:30. The trail is approximately 4.0 miles long.

Guiding Light Mission volunteer opportunity. Arrive at the Mission by 11:45 a.m. We'll help for 1 and ½ hours.

About Guiding Light Mission: Guiding Light Mission serves as a clearinghouse for donated food and grocery items for the Greater Grand Rapids area. During the first half of 2007, Guiding Light provided emergency food for more than 5,900 2-1-1 calls. This represents a 251% increase over the 2,349 totals calls received for the same time-period last year.
